I enjoyed reading your latest entry Jono and I agree with you on a lot of the points you've discussed about the Open Source Community as a whole; it's evident from the depth of your writing that the above came from experience, a love of your job and most importantly, from the heart.

When I began using non-Windows Operating Systems almost a year ago, it felt amazing; I felt fresh, I felt creative, I felt as though a large weight had been taken from my shoulders and I realised how much effort and care had been taken into creating each individual sections of whatever distrobution I was using.

I've used openSUSE 10.1/2, Ubuntu 6.06/10 and am currently using Gentoo-based Sabayon MiniEdition 3.2 and I've always been amazed at the quality and richness of the overall experience; something of which a well known company has tried to emulate in their latest Operating System with a large price to accompany it.

I hope you enjoyed CeBit.

"It is the greatest game in the world; nevermind Second Life, nevermind video games - our game has real implications and opportunities for real people."

Hi Jonno, I totally agree. I used to like computers games but I so much more oa buzz from writing freeware, I've given up except when playing with my daughter.

Writing software is much more fun.
